1. Pay attention to the dotted quarter note in measures 4, 8 and 16. A dotted quarter note lasts for 1.5 beats. 

2. Pay attention to the tie at the end of measure 12. The slur symbol means that you hold out the F# of both quarter notes like they're a half note.
